It will happen, even if there’s no technical reason for them to cut rates while inflation is running hot. However with the current US government in desperation mode for votes, political forces will outweigh common sense and they will cut it. Gold should run crazy to $3000usd imo. Not sure if the cut will happen September or closer to the US election in October but it’s coming Imo.
