This reminds me of the moment Alan Joyce grounded the entire Qantas fleet in 2011 as he fought off the union and government to turnaround the airlines. I feel it’s rather opportunistic of Star to seek additional finance and tax relief just after Queens wharf opened and Bell report released. It’s no doubt the opening was a success and showed that Star still has a promising future. Also let’s be honest, Bell report outcome was as good as it could be for the company. If I’m right and I really hope I am, this could be the turning around moment for Star.
