Looking at the increase volume of shares on sale, it seems the trading halt on Friday left the shorters with a few million leftover shares to get rid off.
Maybe they will offload today, then settlement will occur this afternoon.
It's the only way I can explain offering up so many shares in the face of a major de-risking and increase in buy-side support. (i.e. it's not how a sensible/rational seller would seek to offload so many shares).
Will be interesting if all those shares remain there at open.
