Estimated 2.9 tcf gas and 184 million bbl condensate on the eastern EPOs. IVZ give these figures as recoverable, not just in place.

We have MOUs which require approx 200mmscfd - Tatanga, Sable and the Dallaglio mine. My calculations give almost 40 years worth of supply to those 3 based on just the 2.9tcf recoverable. Then there's the condensate at how much per barrel? Maybe $US60? And that's just on the Eastern prospects. Add that to an already proved Mukuyu discovery.

It will be very interesting to see what kind of extended flow rates can be achieved at Mukuyu. How many wells needed to supply those MOUs, which by themselves can underpin the company for decades. And then supply from the east and the possibly oily basin margin factored in to the wider Southern Africa region.

The fact that people are complaining about this announcement because it's not the one they wanted, or that the share price isn't meeting their expectations? Just hilarious. We made the discoveries less than one year ago. The reality is that most discovery to production timelines are 10 years plus. People here expect it done in 2 years.
