Is this the Bowen kiss of death??????????"The federal government has given the green light for a wind farm to be built off the coast of South West WA.
Energy minister Chris Bowen declared a proposed offshore wind zone in February, igniting a maelstrom of public debate.
On Monday, he returned to Bunbury to confirm the project would go ahead, albeit reduced.
The zone is roughly half the size of the initial proposal, at about 4,000 square kilometres.
Mr Bowen said the wind farm would generate up to 11.4 gigawatts of energy for WA."
