For the benefit of those who may not be aware, this is a reference to a May 2023 proposal announced by President Joe Biden and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese following meetings on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Hiroshima.
It has subsequently become embedded in the US Department of Defence Production Act Title III - supporting notes below;



"US investment in the production and purchase of Australian critical minerals..." - as EQR continues to develop and extract its product, as the US become increasingly in need of the product, as China export quotas tighten (?) and as we get closer to the Jan 2026 sanctions deadline, the likelihood of the US evoking this Title III of their Act will only increase.
Their critical minerals fund extends into the many, many billions so for EQR to now be seen as a quick and easy domestic source for their burgeoning appetite bodes very well indeed for EQR - and not just for offtake access to the product but also, possibly, for investment in the company to hasten the mining and extraction timeline.

I feel quite confident that this very strategic initiative between our two countries is something we will be seeing more of in the not too distant future.

As a result, EQR's future is very very bright indeed !
