Why can France, with not uranium reserves, afford 80% of their electricty to be generated from nuclear power, and for some reason Australia cannot?
Nuclear power generation is proven and comstantly improving technology.
Australia has a natural advantage with massive uranium reserves and concentrations of population to be served.
The power user is for the most part completely "generation-type agnostic".
They want the cheapest possible with 100% consistenty of power.
Not power supply made unreliable and inconsistent and several times more expensive than it needs to be by linking to some greenie pipe-dreams and socialist social engineering/capitalism destroying ambitions.
The few people who support greenies generally do so because they are: - gullible fools - too young to have learned not to be a gullible fool - making a protest vote against liberal/labor - agree with one element of the policy that they view as over-riding the rest of the obvious stupidity of the policies (gay marriage comes to mind) - just havemt thought it through and dont take the political process seriously -> donkey vote
Posts here do not "prove" that greenie policies make sense however much as you might like it to be.
