Lord Blackheath is an English peer. In a remarkable speech to the House of Lords on November 1, Blackheath outlined an offer by a secretive financial group, which he simply called Foundation X, to fund major infrastructure programs in England. Remarkable yes, but is it relevant to this thread? Still remarkably, YES.
The relevance is not the speech itself but the explanation for the speech which Blackheath delivered in an interview for SkyNews;

Blackheath discussed how X were concerned to see GDP move back into growth in order to save the economy (and the world). They were prepared to fund major infrastructure programs including the 17 billion pounds required to fast track the Cross Rail project in London plus funds for hospitals and schools. Additionally X advised Blackheath that;
"You can't afford to hang back on your renewable energy policy, so if you have a preferred policy at this moment to do the Underground Gasification of Coal and the conversion of your power stations to use Underground Gasification of Coal, we will pay for that as well."
The 'old money' behind Foundation X have a vision for the future which clearly involves UCG as the preferred source of renewable energy. Even though UCG may not be a renewable energy source in the true sense, I think we get the picture - it is a sustainable, clean coal energy source for the next one hundred years.
The reference to UCG is around the 5 minute mark. It can't have escaped major business and government attention that Dr Michael Green headed up the successful European UCG trials in Spain during the period 1992-98 and is regarded as one of the world's leading UCG specialists.
Alice in Wonderland, a racy conspiracy or one of the most remarkable financial offers ever placed before government. Believe it or not.
