One item that would be good though we're currently missing is the case that establishes that every sitting member of parliament that was aware of deficiencies existing toward covering risks on behalf of shareholders and investors in the ASX financial system had a duty of care toward investors in its professional capacities as executor for the people of the country.

That could possibly be extended in future to similarly apply to the legal services profession, in that any member of the industry ought to have made others aware where they became aware that deficiencies existed, under duties of care toward citizens as being moderators and someone ought to have requested an innovation committee within the Legal services sector that kept a track of internal laws that required update, and a register could be viewed by any party.
