That's correct. In Mark 6:11 Jesus says, “And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, leave that place and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.” True Christians are instructed to proclaim the truth but it doesn't mean we have to do so forever. We move on and let God deal with a person who refutes the Truth. Perhaps in time, another person will "minister" to the unbeliever to become a believer. In other words, we do not "Bible bash" people into belief. Each to their own. We have free will so it's up to each individual to make up their mind and choose.
