SR. " Do you think there is any chance China could place export controls on tungsten ? "

KM. ' We are holding our breath daily waiting for that announcement to happen which I believe is imminent. "

With China having already placed export controls on antimony and widely expected to do likewise on tungsten, this could, at the extreme, place western consumption fairly and squarely at the feet of western producers, of which there are very few.
As stated previously, the UK, USA and Canada have no currently producing tungsten mines - a little bit comes from a few smallish mines but EQR seems to be doing the majority of heavy lifting in terms of supply.

This expected announcement from China is very likely to have a dramatic effect on the EQR share price - and, as Kevin stated, " it's imminent " as China are forecast to retain their own production for domestic regrowth purposes.

Potentially a big plus for EQR shareholders
