Great points you've raised there. Investment in FBR from the Australian government seems like a no-brainer. Why wouldn't they?? They've shown good commitment during the R&D phase of FBR's journey and from what Mike touts in interviews and and FBR's socials releases it sounds like they are keeping a close and ongoing relationship with various officials to garner ongoing support and hopefully some local contracts too as FBR evolves into its commercialization phase.
it's just my opinion but the future doesn't look so gloomy to me. I think there are a lot things stacking up in our favour at the moment, on both a local and global horizon.
