The average waste to ore ratio for Shine is 4.8 to 1, which is way higher than KI.
FEX have calculated opening Shine mine to be profitable.
KI has significantly higher grade, significantly lower silica, loads ships directly from the mine site, and has much lower waste to ore ratio.
