If we put aside Makuutu for a moment and focus on why people feel Belfast haven't progressed.
The Demo plant needed to prove itself by running for a couple of months , the UK GOVERNMENT then requested and paid for a comprehensive Feasibility Study , without looking at the finished FS the GOVERNMENT can't progress with any further support,
Unfortunately the FS is comprehensive and the timeline was 8 months , for the last 8 months no official announcement could be made,
The study should be released shortly and if the GOVERNMENT find the study favourable things could progress quickly. Indications are for a favourable study, especially security of supply reasons.
