I have had little faith in the abilities and integrity of GD’A and RM before him for a long time, however I can’t believe GD’A would pull a stunt which is so blatantly self-serving and in breach of his duties as a director unless there is another undisclosed element forthcoming (eg a full takeover, etc). The relatively short extension to the suspension makes me think it’s more likely that something positive for all SHs is in the works but in their usual manner they’ve ballsed up the timing/messaging.
In the event that they’ve shafted other shareholders, I’ll agitate for asx/asic to take action as well as consider civil action (as would many other shareholders I’d imagine).
