Just putting this out there for comment.
Seems to me that the shorting that we are seeing daily needs very many shares to operate.
What would happen if our Company decided to reduce the number of shares on issue by ... say 50%.
Shares on Issue: 2,865,373,749 New Number 1,432,686,874.5 much easier to manage. At this time I am ignoring the other share types in an attempt to keep the discussion, if any simple.
We all now have half the number of shares but same total value as before.
Would this cramp the style of the shorters and they 'go away'?
