Since a few here like to make out (for own benefit) that everything is happening just to BRN SP.
I found this stock. What a dud, pulled back 88% in 2002, then again another 85% pullback in 2008. Then several more pullbacks in the 50-65% range as recent as 2022. Imagine the posts on anonymous forums back then............ Could probably call it a dog and call for the CEOs head........
Any guess what its trades at now?
Well that dog stock NVIDIA now trades around $105.00
To think I missed the opportunity to buy shares for $0.06 there. WOW.
Around those prices NVIDIA partnered up with TSMC, launched first product, supplied chips to Playstation, introduced CUDA architecture.
A whole bunch of partners and patents, all worthless i guess.............UNTIL THEY ARENT.
Does that mean its no longer a guess that these things take time?
Could this be proof that other companys SP could also go up and down over their journey to commercialisation?
Obviously Im not comparing the 2 companies here in 2024 but I think the point is clear.
It would be insanity to think that the people that turned up everyday on stock forums to bag NVIDIA at 6 cents were also there at $105.
It would be insanity to not believe early holders there bought high & sold low & blamed the company for their decisions on forums.
I wonder how many thought NVIDIA at 6 cents was a gamble? 1750X is OK for a return I guess.
I guess those that bought in for $1 there still went OK...............
Theres bad times to hang around forums and then theres great times. Timing is everything. Those attempting to wear down holders know if news comes that they will disappear.....again.
Id imagine theres a few topping up between here and the 14 cent floor.
