Haha hopefully the big man's enthusiasm translates into drill bit success! I managed to find this article which outlines what various baseline levels of Nb are. (Remember that: 1 mg/kg = 1 ppm). So average Nb concentration for alkaline extrusive rocks is 204 ppm and for igneous rocks 133ppm.
