lithium may go up down in cycles. In the last cycle, the one before this the low was about $500, reached a peak $1300 and then dropped to $500.
the cycle we are in at the moment is probably an anomaly due to EV hype.
It seems to have gone from $390 in '20 up to $7,790 in '23 and is now $770. $7,790 to $770 ie - 90%!!!
I think we might actually be going down even further to around $390-500 again to where we started due to supply and demand forces which means a fall of roughly 35%
After that, due to all the new mines and production it will back to business as usual and cycle similar to what we have seen in the past ie $400 to $1300 and back down to $400
