If you have a defined strategy that specifies what you can invest in and why, and you keep to it, then the auditor (not the accountant!) cannot raise objections on your choice of investments.
If they do, then I suggest you look at changing you auditor.
Yes, I have had dicusions with mine, and explained things, and i believe hemay have even "invested" in IMU.
