I just want to be really clear on this. The formula as presented by Oxford Energy is their formula (NOT MINE) - I do not know if PLL/TSLA follows this formula (and for those that followed the link) they also presented another formula which was:
SC6 Price = Cash cost of production + (Prevailing chemical ref. price ÷ Conversion factor - Floor SC6 Price) * SC Producer Margin Share
Again its just a formula but you could plug in some numbers
C1 = US$691 (this is in DFS and includes Authier purchase)
Conversion Factor = 7.5 ... just for consistency
Floor SC6 price = ??? well say its 120% of C1 ... so US$830
SC Producer Margin = say 25%
Implied SC6 price at $10,000/t LiOH
= 691 + (10000 / 7.5 - (691*1.2)) *0.25
= 691 + (1333 - 770)*0.25
= 691 + 148
= US$840/t
That number (US$840/t) is well below their other formula which is around $1300 mark. Both of these are well above current SC6 price which is US$740/t and LiOH of US$10,100/t

This is something you as investors need to get your own head around ... it aint easy.
