This is not surprising and indeed i suspect is pretty normal.
I have psoriasis and now use a drug called tremfya which has now addressed all symptoms. My dermatologist described it as liquid gold. It is very very expensive. It is on a scale like Sofdra, I think. But i had to first demonstrate that other cheaper solutions didnt work.
yes it was Australia and not the USA, but the same principles apply. I suspect. It was not hard to do. You cant blame insurance companies for requiring this. Albeit hopefully they dont
