You advertently or uinadvertently miss the point:

-Georgia has not yet joined NATO
-Moldova has not yet joined NATO
-Ukraine has not yet joined NATO
-Belarus has not yet joined NATO

In summary since 2008 there has been
no more encroachment of NATO is the Black Sea area.

When all 4 above are inducted into NATO, then
I'll believe you that NATO led by the USA has won
and, conversely , Russia has lost.

In the meantime...its a work in progress from both sides'
point of view.

PS:IMO the Ukraine will, more probable than not, end up
as a non-NATO Rump State economically supported long term by the EC.
