finally someone mentions thorium, specifically the fluoride reactors.
quick science lesson.
these things can be built small and large
are air cooled [no excessive water needed]
and guess what, lucky old us {especially WA] have the largest known thorium deposits globally.
Also, it's a bugger to turn into a bomb.
Now, if "climate change" wasn't a great big con, wouldn't you think the world would be rushing to develop these things?
with apologies for the cynicism , however, given that our elected members have very few scientists within their ranks then probably not surprising!
