So Qatar is in the Oceania group yet is referred to as the Middle East country representative. First thing to do is get them out of our group. As Asia has 2/3rds of the worlds population, the Asian competitions will not really need FIFA and should go it alone with this region. Bring the top football clubs over for games and promotion. The last world cup in South Africa was a farce as the French team showed. The players are not that interested in playing for their countries, more their team and money. World cup will go the same way as test cricket. I would rather see a top team play than one hurriedly put together for a FIFA money raising. A lot can happen in the Middle East in 12 years.....like another war. Russia is a good choice, nice to see the mafia take an interest in sport. Russia was an original top soccer nation so it will be good to see them come back as a force. Also there is a lot to see between games if your wallet hasn't been nicked.
