I wonder if the Tesla robotaxi reveal event on october 10th is able to shift the sentiment.
It will take a while to have a significant impact (production ramp-up takes time) on lithium demand, but the changing outlook might matter in the short term.
I see no ICE robotaxis on the horizon and sales from legacy carmakers will matter less and less the more people will adapt to transportation as a service. There will be a lot of whining, FUD and lobbyism though.
With Tesla and BYD increasing sales, future lithium demand could surprise to the upside.
