Like most others, you've misinterpreted (or conveniently ignored) the real concern.
It's not the number of ICE fires vs EV fires.
It's the severity of the fire, and the collateral damage an intense EV generates with thermal runaway.
Not to mention the fact that convention fires suppression techniques simply do not work on lithium-ion based fires.

If you've been across this subject, look at what has happened in South Korea in recent months.
The damage done to property, infrastructure and displacing people because of a single EV catching fire.

You might have 20 ICE fire for every EV fire, but the real statistic is the total damage per fire.
It would take, what, 800 ICE vehicle fires or so to cause the same damage as a single EV fire.

Constantly regurgitating ICE vs EV fire raw numbers is just plain pointless.
