We already have underground has storage in Victoria at Port Campbell . lt's been operating for nearly 25 years .

As Bass Strait struggles with reliable gas supply it does make sense to have a gas buffer going forward . lt's a bit of an expensive option and it would have been nice if we'd planned for this years ago rather than leave it to the last minute .
As to CCS in Bass Strait , Exxon Mobil has been working on that for a while already .
