Oh boy. The poor fella working for free. Not that he will ever hit his targets, but if by miracle he does, his shares are basically worthless as there'll never be enough liquidity to sell, even the small amounts he will own. That's also conditional if the company is still around in 12 months after his shares get issued, as that's how long they're held in escrow for.
Shameless getting work done essentially for free. But not surprising as they've done similar before.
