Agreed. Iress has become a total piece of crap. The HTML client was bad compared to the old outdated Java client, but at least it had a dumbed down version of tradingview for charting that was functional, but now with their custom built chart replacement it has become almost unusable. I hate it with a passion.
Most problems, however, can be temporarilly fixed by clearing your browser web cache - which of course blows out any settings etc set up for other sites. So it is a good idea to use one browser exclusively for Iress and then use another brand browser for other activities. Reasonable browsers are available including: Chrome (erk!), Brave (excellent), AVG Secure, Opera and of course Edge.
