@screenbender is one of a number who believes countless deaths of non-jews are essential if it makes him feel safer. He has posts to that effect. He will argue context, he'll call you a Nazi, but he can't hide the truth for long.
Laughably stupid, and, as you point out, he thinks everyone will forget this butchery. He hopes no one will recognise that Israel's current PM admitted they approved the financing of Hamas. We aren't meant to see the impossibility of Hamas driving trucks to the border on Oct 7th and going unnoticed as paragliders floated across into Israeli controlled territory. Nor should anyone take notice of the recent disclosure that Israeli forces mowed down their own people on Oct 7th.
These people lie continuously. There's little point engaging any energy on them, particularly the 'bender. Anything that makes him feel safer (including the murder of innocence) is justifiable in his mind. These people don't believe in hell, perhaps they should because that's where they are heading.
