"whole planet" - " World Flood"

Once again, I SEE the lights are one and no one is home

A number of verses SHOW that these terms above are ONLY talking about the inhabited lands at that time and not as you're reading it, or should I say claiming

"water cannot and does not cover the whole planet"

Gen 1:2 - The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
9 - Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so.
