They could be in a spot of trouble with ASIC if they don't announce anything. Positive results are material but so are negative results and the JORC code says material information should be reported. "Material" refers to information that is likely to influence the decision of investors or stakeholders. Companies must also disclose exploration results that have a significant effect on the valuation or prospects of the company.
