I think Silex's projected capital cost is roughly half centrifuge, although Silex may have described it as "much lower" not half. I did ask at a Silex Agm how much lower the operating cost was than Centrifuge for Leu and the answer was something like "I'm not going to tell you". So I guess it's somewhat of a secret. As far as the proposed tails plant goes Silex has said that all in cost of production would be about us$30/lb. They compare that with being equivalent to a very large low cost uranium mine. Whatever the costs are, Putin's comments last night on uranium, i think would probably kick the swu price even higher when it comes out at the end of the month. If Cameco wants to enter the Uranium enrichment game Silex is their logical way in for now, provided the test loop produces the desired results.
