this post has been around for a while. I remember seeing it a couple years ago or one very similar. Yeah I think HC FBR has been subject to something like this for a while. Worse lately although I don’t think anywhere near as sophisticated.
I also wouldn’t underestimate HotCopper themselves, they make money on threads that are watched and have engagement. If a thread like FBR which gets heaps of engagement due to polarizing views the. Would make sense to put a few alias accounts in to stir pot.
