Then there was the time when I and my family came up behind a semi-trailer on the highway that was shedding large Queensland blue pumpkins. It was a spectacular sight - the pumpkins stayed in one piece, bounding high into the air as they raced off into the trees or through the oncoming traffic at around 100km/hr. I couldn't get close enough to get the truckie's attention, what with the risk of colliding with a flying pumpkin. He or she didn't seem to realise that anything was amiss, and disappeared into the distance.
