yes that will be a critical point. imo they will already have the replacement 99% lined up. maybe a few t's and c's to finalise. this person will have first been canvassed to potential financiers and once they confirmed a level of confidence in that person they then would have been canvassed to the bolivian authorities. imo the deal will already be technically done now just waiting for notice periods to expire etc so can come onboard. at this level of personnel you don't just accept or push for a resignation and then start looking around. the second decision is always sorted out before the first one is executed.
