I don't agree with your comment "that only discovery of the century will be our salvation", rather our salvation will be China.
With its economy under pressure the Australian mining industry in general is bearing the brunt of the China's financial woes, not to mention the worldwide impact.
Some advice I refer to is that of Rick Rule, president and CEO of Sprott US Holdings Inc. and a highly renowned and seasoned investor, with expertise in the natural resource industries. I suggest you utilise You Tube for his opinions.
