JCoure, QBE sold CHU years back. QBE has simplified is business significantly. QBE took an approach beyond what was "legal" and imposed an approach around what was "ethical". Their approach was far more stringent than most global insurers.
The recent London market results illustrated why rates are coming off faster in 2024. It was hugely profitable. This is a key part of QBE's business. This is where I would draw concern. But any reduction here would be offset by the very tough approach they have taken in the US
