I think you'll find that the majority of flake graphite deposits are a mix of both weathered and fresh. The upside of the former is that the mining component is cheaper but the downside is lower purity and crystalinity. The upside and downside to fresh is simply the opposite. So, it swings in roundabouts, and for financiers, its more about the entire package - quality, quantity, and the overall proposition. Being able to prove operational capabilities also garners trophy points. EGR has successfully constructed a Product Qualification Facility, Rolly.
