Interesting. During my 5 years of chemo I have lost the following:
My taste for food, 25 kg of body weight, my fingerprints, the skin off my feet, some of my good hearing and some of my good eyesight.
My balance and agility and energy to do things I was always capable of.
I have gained nausea, fatigue, weak and fragile skin and tolerance to a bit of pain.
But I have not lost all of my hair and none of my sense of humour or confidence
