Scitty,
Wow thats amazing! Out of all the temps that you could choose, the current one is the perfect solution for the world!
Very unscientific.
How was the earth able to heat up by 4 degrees more than now in the last warming period before the last ice age?
The ice cores show that a completely natural temp for the earth at that time was 4 degrees higher than now. So why attempt to halt a natural process?
The next ice age will be upon us well within 50,000 years.
Your own graph from the ice cores shows that our earth was 4+ degrees colder than now for some 90,000 of the last 120,000 years. Thats a heck of a lot of natural coldness that our earth is subject to.
We have been relatively warm for the last 10,000 years and you want to stop that warmth!

An ice age may well come upon us very quickly. They usually start when CO2 levels are increasing as they are now.
As the periods of cold by far exceed the periods of warmth, a concentration on how to survive the ice age makes a heck of a lot more sense than worrying about pleasant warmth!
