I'm self-funded in my retirement. fortunately my wife still works and will have her super too.

life on the pension has always been hard. make sure you don't need it.

with successive govts focused on reducing taxes and so making it harder to make ends meet, its far better to reduce the cost to govt.

besides, I've worked all my life. only once ever asked for help when I was trying to start a business..... which failed due to other producers of my kind adopted my strategy. so priced me out of business.

I don't want to ever be dependent on govt again.
