It's my perception that we're witnessing the USA attempting to avoid becoming uncompetitive relative to China as it exacerbates issues and military conflicts throughout the World and retreats into economics based on $Feeding $Greed, ignoring the environmental constraints of our Planet and manipulating every single aspect of the global economy - even establishing record high tariffs targeting countries it cannot compete against.
