Total Shorts tally still declining at an average of about 4,000 per day as has been the case since late January. A very controlled slow reduction in exposure. Down to 1.884 on 16 Sep. Clearly being managed by institutional shorter - probably hedging the EGR shares they control. Some on the top 20 I guess. It seems that now they are hedging against EGR clocking up some big wins in developing its business plan but know no better than us when that will eventuate, however they know that it is getting closer every day.
ASX & ASIC rules should ban shorting of companies below the top 300 or 500 I reckon. It only acts to make life more difficult for small companies and their shareholders who are very important for an economy.
