A follow up on Rem. I spoke too soon. At the 2023 agm there was a first strike, with 38% of votes against the Rem Report. However, only 87m shares were voted on this resolution, but 259m on another resolution, so RG did not vote on the Rem Report. P6 of the 24 AR discusses this, acknowledges the first strike, but says no one made comments. or asked questions at the agm about Rem. The Board assumed that it was a protest vote. I don’t know why RG didn’t vote his shares last year on Rem: I assume he will vote his 88% this year. Either way, in the interests of shareholder democracy it’s still worth registering a protest vote.
