From a corporate perspective You do not think it audacious by yourself to expect the board to take you back on after voluntarily leaving it, as a board unlike individuals is governed by its corporate governance practices ?

Personally I would bury the hatchet on that issue , and anything to do with belittling LBL as it is wasted energy on your part , and just stresses everyone out who are ------governed by the board constitution
Use the energy on something constructive maybe your own R&D program for something which you obviously have the skill sets for.

"How could I have confidence in Ms Parsons's abilities"

because Dagmar Parsons has chaired an ASX microcap for the last 6 years . When she took the helm the company was on its death bed , haemorrhaging several million a year , and had accumulated losses of around $50 million , in the last 3 years it has started making a profit , and she has elucidated and graphed a CLEARER strategy graphed going forward than what LBL has done !
Her detailed yearly chairpersons AR analysis is a far cry from the one page document her predecessor at the microcap did before her.
Good to hear you had an argument with Parsons , I do not know the arguments context , although I would probably more call it a healthy constructive debate that she had the confidence to take you on about , and I am surprised you do not have respect for her doing that , that took guts on her part .
Maybe you need to do a bit of self reflection on not taking things personally and just accept people will have different opinions from you .

"Concerning profit margins, what is your opinion on nepotism?"

I do not know where you are going with that and probably I do not want to know as I trust the personal running this company , unlike many companies I am invested in which are run by scoundrels .

"Concerning R&D, a degree does not an innovator make."
Your brain is wired for creativity , its a gift to think abstractly so yes you are correct a degree is not necessary for that , can even be an impediment as can not think outside the box .
I would not demean someone with an engineering degree though as it shows the person has the ability to calculate difficult equations and utilise various engineering programs that I know I can not do .

Anyway take care mate , and hope the lobster pots are full , life is more than just LBL I respect you for putting a great foundation under the company with your brother the legacy of what you guys seeded continues .
