The report stated the over-pressured zone has been stabilised by circulating 11 ppg mud and an additional 40 metres has been drilled to 2,976m to enable the zone to be isolated behind 9-5/8 casing. This does not say we have a major gas column.

All that an over pressured zone means that pressure exceeded what was expected and had to be fixed to stabilize the well allowing drilling to continue. The most important thing is that the well was stabilized.

Excess pressure, called overpressure or geopressure, can cause a well to blow out or become uncontrollable during drilling. severe underpressure can cause the drillpipe to stick to the underpressured formation.
