Water vapor is the major greenhouse gas, CO2 does next to sweet FA.

In the tropical desert where there is limited water vapor it can get to 50C during the day and below freezing at night in spite of the increase in CO2

Also, in the tropics where there is lots of water vapor it rarely gets below 26C at night.

According to the IPCC human emissions of CO2 amount to only 3 or 4% of the increase in CO2, the majority would be emitted from the warming oceans.
