that is all good but that is Operations Manager or Project Manager reporting to his/her boss. that is not MD talking the big picture. While important to explain some details of the expansion plan the main game for the MD is not to get stuck in the small details and start splitting hairs but to present the vision of the company, the strategy how to achieve that and timelines as milestones.
even the Crux guy tried to get Nic to open his horizons and explain the vision where he wants to take ALK in the future. And what Nic does is getting himself entangled in what the paste plant does and when it comes to articulate the big picture he struggles for words. Every single time.
this interview was the last for me - I just can't see how I can support him.
To be successful MD one has to be competent, opportunistic, strategic and nice person. Nic is a nice person.
